Responsibilities

  • Leading the McDonald’s design team across multiple workstreams and disciplines
  • Owning the visual quality and craft of all brand outputs end-to-end
  • Overseeing design across restaurant experience, packaging, merch, photography and campaigns
  • Partnering with creative, strategy and production to bring ideas to life with excellence
  • Driving consistency while enabling creative innovation within the brand
  • Presenting work to clients with clarity, confidence and authority
  • Managing, mentoring and growing a high-performing design team
  • Setting clear direction, feedback and standards for design craft
  • Identifying opportunities to evolve and elevate the brand through design

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading design on major retail or QSR brands
  • Exceptional design craft with a portfolio of award-winning work
  • Strong understanding of physical and digital brand environments
  • Experience across packaging, retail, spatial and campaign design systems
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and grow creative teams
  • Confident client-facing presence with strong communication skills
  • Deep knowledge of production across multiple formats and channels
  • High attention to detail with a passion for craft and consistency
  • Ability to manage complexity, multiple stakeholders and tight timelines
  • Proficiency across Adobe Creative Suite and relevant design tools
  • Experience with Ai production is a plus
