About the role

• Cloud Architect designing secure architectures for enterprise-level cloud infrastructures. Leading cybersecurity initiatives and delivering integrated solutions while working on a subcontract engagement with Leidos.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for new cloud architecture design, development and integration of new architectural features into existing cloud infrastructures while maintaining the integrity and security of enterprise-wide cyber systems and networks.
• Lead multi-disciplined teams in the design and implementation of cybersecurity system architecture.
• Able to apply cyber security standards, directives, guidance and policies to a cloud architectural framework.
• Compile industry best practices and lessons learned into future iterations and new designs for the cloud hosting environment.
• Provide broad based experience in the systems engineering lifecycle and specific cyber security initiatives relating to cloud architectural design and development.
• Resolve cloud architecture implementation issues during integration and test.
• Interface with internal and external entities for various solution related activities.
• Ability to develop and deliver end-to-end, complex, enterprise level solutions that meet current and future capability requirements.
• Design integrated and streamlined streamlining solutions for multiple customers undertaking that provide technical and cost benefits through scaling and other attributes.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 12+ years of relevant experience supporting enterprise cloud and/or infrastructure environments.
• Certifications: IAT-2, 1 or more cloud certifications.
• Able to obtain a minimum of a Secret security clearance; active Secret preferred.
• Experience working in regulated environments and following secure engineering / documentation practices.
