About the role

  • Training, coaching, and development of communication specialists
  • Manage multiple job duties daily, including all communication specialist duties
  • Facilitate productive use of employee downtime with ongoing training
  • Interface with the flight program as a contact source
  • Relay complaints or potential program issues to the Client Services Manager
  • Guide, evaluate, and lead Communication Specialists with monitoring and feedback
  • Promote teamwork and continuous improvement in assigned staff
  • Assist in integrating/transitioning new programs into the communications center
  • Provide excellent customer service in the assigned region
  • Participate in the training of new employees and monitoring their progress
  • Promote communication between specialists, Flight team, and outside agencies
  • Implement PAIP procedures and make notifications
  • Monitor shift activity and contact necessary personnel

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years of related experience or training
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1 year management or supervisory experience preferred
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Aviation industry experience preferred
  • Ability to be a team player with a professional attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Intermediate Microsoft Suite skills required
