Responsibilities
Responsible for requirements analysis and the functional detailed design for the implementation of software solutions
Further development and optimization of the existing landscape of the core policy system and other integrated core systems
Implement software projects in an international environment using agile development methods in collaboration with colleagues worldwide
Conduct requirements analysis, including re-engineering when necessary, and transfer knowledge about business processes and insurance products
Design and implement new business features in collaboration with internal customers (Product Owners)
Coordinate the implementation of initiatives after analysis: commission developers, align on functional tests, hand over to application management, and participate in the release process
Work closely with product managers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, developers, project managers, and other engineering teams
Requirements
Completed vocational training as an insurance specialist (Versicherungskaufmann/-frau) or an equivalent qualification with an IT background
Professional experience in an IT environment as a Business Analyst
Strong interest and willingness to pursue further training, especially in the insurance business and modern IT technologies (Cloud, AI, microservice architectures)
Independent, self-directed way of working
Ability to think and work in a structured and conceptual manner
Experience in the insurance industry and in regulated environments is an advantage
Experience in agile refinement: creating a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and breaking work down into separately actionable user stories
Demonstrable business-fluent German and English skills
