About the role

  • Assistant Front Office Manager at AHORN Hotels & Resorts, representing the reception leadership and managing the reception team, providing excellent guest service. Responsible for check-in/check-out procedures and team communication.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the front office manager in their absence
  • Lead the reception team effectively
  • Onboard and train apprentices and students
  • Staff planning and preparation of duty and vacation schedules
  • Handle all formalities during check-in and check-out
  • Professionally manage guest complaints and claims
  • Maintain internal communication with other hotel departments
  • Prepare daily reconciliations using Fidelio Suite 8 as well as monthly closings

Requirements

  • Relevant vocational qualification in hospitality
  • Professional experience in the described role
  • Confident, professional manner with guests and a very friendly attitude
  • Organized and able to work independently
  • Confident computer skills
  • Experience with Fidelio Suite 8 is desirable (training can be provided if necessary)
