About the role
- Software Engineer QA developing and testing eCommerce solutions for revenue growth at Agilent Technologies. Collaborating with teams to create robust automation tests and ensuring product quality.
Responsibilities
- Work with a team of engineers to deliver features crucial to Revenue growth
- Design and develop comprehensive automation test scripts and frameworks for certifying quality of eCommerce solutions
- Focus on performance, security, and ease of usage of eCommerce features
- Collaborate with centralized testing team to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline
- Collaborate with the development team to understand product features and technical specifications to create effective test plans and strategies
- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with developers to resolve them
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent
- 4+ years of relevant experience in QA and automation development
- Experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies
- Programming skills in Python, JavaScript, React, Java
- Experience with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative perspective
