Responsibilities
You develop new diagnostic tests based on mass spectrometry and the associated sample preparation methods.
You carry out tasks from feasibility assessments through to market launch in compliance with mQMS requirements and following SOPs.
You work on process and method development in collaboration with system integration and production.
You provide cross‑functional support to other departments, such as Clinical Operations.
You present results in consultation with your Technical Lead.
The role involves handling potentially infectious material as well as hazardous and active substances.
Requirements
Successfully completed scientific vocational training (chemical laboratory technician, biological laboratory technician) with professional experience, or further training as a biotechnology technician with professional experience, or alternatively a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biotechnology or a comparable field (FH / university).
You have experience in biochemical work, analytics or test development.
You are proficient in using various software tools (e.g., Word, Excel, Oase, control software) and instruments (e.g., HPLC, mass spectrometers, Hitachi and Elecsys systems) to generate, analyze and prepare measurement results.
Basic IT skills and English language skills sufficient to understand technical literature, instructions and software tools are required.
