Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and mentor a team of Product Owners; oversee team operations.
Define and own team processes (in concert with other divisional PO leaders), including Product Owner workflows and cross-functional collaboration throughout the product development lifecycle.
Maintain and improve team acumen by planning and implementing partnerships, mentoring, and formal training programs.
Define roles, responsibilities, and resource needs based on a deep understanding of team functions.
Exercise autonomy in resolving technical and operational challenges within the department.
Resolve conflicting priorities and provide guidance on complex challenges and assignments.
Collaborate internally and externally on topics related to organizational goals and processes.
Lead projects or initiatives with impact beyond the immediate team.
Sponsor a culture of continuous improvement within the team, by advocating for a growth mindset and personal / career development.
Requirements
Bachelor's or master's degree (or equivalent) with relevant experience.
Preferably 2+ years of experience formally or informally leading people, projects, or programs.
7+ years of experience working on product delivery teams as a product manager, technical product manager, product owner, project manager, or similar role.
Product delivery experience should include at least 2 years specifically with software application products.
Working knowledge of an analytical laboratory is a plus.
