About the role

  • Field Sales Account Manager for Agilent's Consumables portfolio in Southern Germany and Austria. Leading business development and customer relationships in a scientific environment.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively drive business success within your assigned territory
  • Develop business for Agilent's Consumables portfolio
  • Collaborate closely with sales partners and internal teams
  • Provide honest, technically sound, and solution-oriented advice
  • Build strong, long-term customer relationships, including CRM documentation
  • Maintain regular on-site presence at customer locations

Requirements

  • Several years of B2B sales experience, ideally in a scientific or technical environment
  • Degree in a natural science or equivalent vocational qualification
  • Solid technical knowledge of chromatography (e.g., LC, GC, columns, consumables)
  • Enjoy collaborating with customers on an equal footing
  • High degree of personal responsibility and a structured way of working
  • Willingness to travel within Southern Germany and, if required, to Austria
  • Fluent German and very good English
