About the role
- CAPEX Finance Analyst managing and controlling the NAM capital budget at Aggreko. Responsibilities include forecasting, tracking actual spend, and ensuring compliance with global capital processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the NAM annual capital budget
- Allocated into monthly spending requests
- Ongoing tracking and reporting of actual spend versus budget
- Ensure capital expenditures comply with the global process
- Monitoring approval workflows, recognizing and overcoming delays
- Maintaining spending within the approved budget
- Track capital expenditures, including costs and delivery schedules
- Host monthly Checkpoint calls and weekly meetings with Procurement team
- Daily communications with capex stakeholders
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for leadership presentations
- Conduct variance analysis - present monthly actuals and future forecast delivery schedules
- Collaborate with Finance and Wipro (third-party accounting firm)
- Support fixed asset capitalization
- Participate in internal and external audits - identify intercompany
- Cross-Department collaboration
Requirements
- 5+ years of fleet, asset, ops and supply chain experience
- bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Capital Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting experience
- Intermediate to advanced understanding of finance and accounting and Data Analytics
- Able to maintain high visibility of fleet status, including utilization by set size, equipment under repair or inspection, turnaround timelines, and rehires
- PC literate in a Microsoft Office environment (Largely Excel & PowerPoint)
- experienced with an ERP system (preferred)
