About the role

  • Seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure and Operations Specialist at V.tal. Join a dynamic and innovative team focusing on technology and excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and evolve multi‑cloud environments in GCP, AWS and OCI, including networking, accounts/projects, IAM, storage, managed databases and managed Kubernetes services.
  • Manage Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters (on‑prem and cloud), including upgrades, resource tuning, security hardening, advanced troubleshooting and standardization of deployments.
  • Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions for applications using WebLogic, SOA, Apache, IIS and cloud services, ensuring automated testing, governance and traceability.
  • Maintain and improve Nexus artifact repositories, SonarQube code quality checks and Git versioning standards, supporting squads in adopting DevOps best practices.
  • Implement and maintain infrastructure as code with Terraform for AWS, GCP, OCI, Kubernetes/OpenShift and network components, including code reviews, reusable modules and change controls.
  • Act as L2/L3 for critical incidents across platforms (cloud, Kubernetes/OpenShift, CI/CD, middleware, Power BI, SharePoint), coordinating end‑to‑end troubleshooting and supporting war rooms.
  • Define and maintain monitoring, metrics, logs and observability dashboards for the platforms, integrating with APM/observability tools and generating intelligent alerts.
  • Support development teams in cloud‑native solution architecture, pipeline standardization, container usage and integration with data/analytics services (Power BI, SharePoint).
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, security standards and operational best‑practice guides for platform operation and evolution.
  • Contribute to capacity planning, cloud cost optimization and the definition of SLOs/SLIs for the main platforms owned by the team.

Requirements

  • Solid experience (minimum 6–8 years) in infrastructure/DevOps.
  • Proficiency in at least two public cloud providers (GCP, AWS, OCI).
  • Strong experience in administering Kubernetes and/or OpenShift.
  • Advanced experience in CI/CD with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
  • Solid knowledge of middleware and application servers (WebLogic, SOA, Apache HTTP Server, IIS).
  • Proficiency with Terraform.
  • Experience with artifact repositories (Nexus) and code quality tools (SonarQube).
  • Hands‑on experience with observability tools (Zabbix, Grafana, ELK, DataDog).
  • Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, load balancing, proxies, VPNs, perimeter security) and cloud security best practices (IAM, policies, secrets management, compliance).
  • Scripting experience in Python, Bash or PowerShell.
  • Cloud (GCP, AWS, OCI) or Kubernetes certifications are desirable.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
