Responsibilities
Worldwide deployment for maintenance and repair of electrotechnical and electronic components, systems and equipment, such as power converter units including battery systems
Investigation of complex converter units on-site, in test and trial fields as part of handling customer complaints
Training and instruction of operating personnel for the respective systems
Communicating product information to customers
Supervision and instruction of technically subordinate staff on site
Carrying out installation inspections of site-performed installations
Commissioning of new equipment and systems at customer sites
Documentation of performed activities and of the condition of the device or system, including preparation of customer-specific protocols (SAT, WKP)
Inspection of customer devices and systems including creation of a defect list and a maintenance plan according to the achieved service life of the device/system
Creation of technical documentation describing the procedure for fault analysis
Adaptation of test routines and programs
Development of retrofit/conversion concepts and circuit diagrams
Definition of required measurement points, test equipment and protocols for KTA-related seismic and EMC tests
Requirements
Degree in Electrical Engineering (Dipl.-Ing. (FH) or equivalent)
Experience in power supply and project engineering/design
Knowledge of our products is an advantage
Familiarity with relevant standards such as DIN VDE, TAB, and UVV is an advantage
Willingness to travel is required
Goal-oriented, structured and resilient under stress, especially in customer communication
High level of commitment and a confident manner with sufficient problem-solving competence
Team player
Very good written and spoken German and English
