Service Engineer managing maintenance and commissioning of electronic power systems for global projects. Involving troubleshooting, documentation, and customer training for equipment use.
Responsibilities
Global deployment for maintenance and repair of electrotechnical and electronic components, systems and installations, such as power converter equipment including battery systems
Investigation of complex power converter units at operational sites, test and trial facilities as part of handling customer complaints
Training and instruction of operating personnel for the respective plants
Conveying product information to customers
Supervision and instruction of technically subordinate staff on site
Carrying out installation inspections of site-installed assemblies
Commissioning of new equipment and systems at customer sites
Documentation of performed work and the condition of the device or system, including preparation of customer-specific protocols (SAT, WKP)
Inspection of customer devices and systems, including preparation of a defect list and a maintenance plan based on the equipment’s/service life
Preparation of technical documentation describing the diagnostic approach
Adaptation of test routines and programs
Development of retrofit concepts and circuit diagrams
Definition of necessary measurement points, test equipment and protocols for KTA-related seismic and EMC tests
Requirements
Degree in Electrical Engineering (Dipl.-Ing. (FH) or equivalent)
Experience in power supply systems and project engineering
Knowledge of our products is an advantage
Familiarity with relevant DIN VDE, TAB and UVV regulations is an advantage
Willingness to travel is required
Goal-oriented, structured and resilient, especially in communication with customers
Commitment and a confident demeanour with solid problem-solving skills
Team player
Very good written and spoken German and English
