Service Engineer for AEG Power Solutions responsible for global maintenance and repair of electronic components and systems. Conducting inspections, training personnel, and documenting technical processes in Germany.
Responsibilities
Global assignments for maintenance and repair of electrotechnical and electronic components, systems and installations such as power converters, including battery systems
Inspection and investigation of complex power converter equipment at customer sites, test and trial fields as part of handling customer complaints
Training and instruction of operator personnel for the respective systems
Communicating product information to customers
Supervising and instructing subordinate technical staff on site
Performing installation inspections of assemblies installed on site
Commissioning new devices and systems at customer locations
Documenting performed work and the condition of equipment/systems, including preparation of customer-specific reports (SAT, WKP)
Inspecting customer devices and systems, including preparing a defect list and a maintenance plan based on the service life of the device/system
Preparing technical documentation describing the approach to fault analysis
Adapting test routines and programs
Developing modification concepts and circuit diagrams
Defining required measurement points, test equipment and protocols for KTA-related seismic and EMC testing
Requirements
Degree in Electrical Engineering (Dipl.-Ing. FH or equivalent)
Experience in power supply and project planning/engineering
Knowledge of our products is an advantage
Knowledge of relevant DIN VDE, TAB and UVV regulations is an advantage
Willingness to travel is required
Goal-oriented, structured and resilient, especially in customer communications
Committed and confident manner with strong problem-solving skills
Team player
Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
