Regional Field Support Technician diagnosing and repairing lighting and control systems for Acuity Brands. Collaborating with engineering teams and providing on-site customer training with a focus on service quality.
Responsibilities
Perform on-site service visits in accordance with Acuity Brands' policies and procedures
Diagnose, troubleshoot, program, and repair lighting and control systems
Provide technical support to both internal teams and external customers
Act as a subject matter expert during customer engagements and technical escalations
Prepare detailed field reports following service calls
Conduct on-site training sessions for customers on system operation and maintenance
Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to identify opportunities for product and process improvements
Requirements
Having a degree in electrical engineering or a related technical discipline
Minimum of 2 years’ hands-on experience in a field service role with electrical and mechanical responsibilities
Strong aptitude in electrical systems, control technologies, and schematic interpretation
Proficiency with Microsoft Windows operating systems
Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and effectively
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Valid U.S. driver’s license and passport required
Bilingual (Spanish/English) proficiency is a plus for international support.
