About the role

  • Sales Executive driving enterprise software sales across Spain, Italy, and Greece for ActiveViam. Managing strategic sales cycles from prospecting to close with a focus on financial organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new logo acquisition across Spain, Italy, and Greece, focusing on Tier 1 & Tier 2 banks, asset managers, energy/commodity houses, insurers, and large corporates.
  • Manage full sales cycles: prospecting, qualification, scoping, proposal, negotiation, and close.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline aligned with quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Present the ActiveViam value proposition and tailor messaging to senior stakeholders (CRO, CFO, CIO, Head of Risk, Head of Trading, Data/Analytics, Technology executives).
  • Develop a regional go-to-market plan, prioritizing key accounts and strategic opportunities.
  • Build long-term relationships with decision-makers, influencers, and technical teams.
  • Work closely with customer success to identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Partner with Pre-Sales, Solution Engineering, Marketing, and Product to deliver compelling demonstrations and solution proposals.
  • Provide market feedback to product management based on customer insights.
  • Represent ActiveViam at industry events, conferences, and targeted regional campaigns.
  • Maintain accurate CRM data and provide reliable forecasts.
  • Report on territory performance, competitive landscape, and pipeline metrics.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise software sales, data analytics platforms, risk management systems, and financial technology.
  • Proven track record closing complex, high-value deals (six- to seven-figure ACV).
  • Experience selling to capital markets, risk departments, trading desks, investment managers is a strong advantage.
  • Strong understanding of risk analytics (FRTB, CVA/XVA, VaR liquidity risk) and willingness to rapidly learn.
  • Understanding of listed and OTC derivatives across rates, credit, FX and equity.
  • Strong understanding of the investment management and banking industry, market structure and vendors / competitors.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (both business and technical).
  • Hunter mentality: proactive, persistent, and highly self-driven.
  • Ability to navigate complex organizations and multi-stakeholder sales processes.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish, proficiency in additional languages such as Italian or Greek would be advantageous.
  • Regular travel across Southern Europe is required.
  • Experience working in an international sales organization.
