Account Manager supporting Florida clientele in insurance services. Managing client needs and educating on policy coverages and insurance coverage.
Responsibilities
Assists clients with coverage changes in an automated environment supported by an imaging system
Informs and educates clients about policy coverages, changes, exclusions, and insurance coverage needs
Provides technical support to producer(s) to benefit clients
Prepares proposals in coordination with producer(s)
Submits applications to eligible and appropriate carriers
Manages clients’ needs by producing binders, certificates, policies, endorsements, and related items
Prepares summaries of insurance, schedules, and proposals as needed for account reviews
Remarkets renewals, contacts clients, creates renewal proposals, and handles other renewal activities
Reviews policy audits, verifies accuracy, and facilitates corrections between the client and carrier as needed
Requirements
5+ years’ experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager supporting clientele within Florida
Full knowledge of insurance products, markets, and usage
Adequate knowledge of rating procedures, coverage, and industry operations to effectively manage, maintain, and underwrite assigned client and prospect lists
Active P&C 2-20 license required
Applied Epic proficiency preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required
CIC or CRIS designations preferred
