About the role
- IT Procurement Vendor Manager responsible for procurement initiatives supporting cost savings at Acosta. Collaborating closely with IT and Finance teams on vendor management and sourcing activities.
Responsibilities
- Execute and implement Procurement initiatives across Acosta.
- Responsible for execution of procurement best practices and cost saving initiatives.
- Sourcing and vendor management, execution of formal Sourcing Events (RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs).
- Vendor governance, reviewing vendor contracts, managing vendor adherence to contracts and managing operational processes related to 3rd party spend.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (BA, BS) is __preferred__; equivalent years of experience is considered
- MBA in related fields is a __plus __
- 3 or more years of relevant experience ideally in a retail/merchandising, finance or marketing environment.
- 3 or more years of experience in leading negotiations of $MM contracts with major software vendors and IT Service Providers and achieving significant cost savings results.
- Information Technology domain subject expertise is __required __
- SPSM, Procurement Management, Outsourcing Professional, Supplier Management Professional or Certified Sourcing Professional certification are a plus.
- Proven success managing complex projects on-time and working in cross functional teams.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially with Powerpoint and Excel.
