About the role
- Community Banking Associate for ACNB Bank servicing customer banking transactions and relationships in Frederick. Engage with customers and assist in varied banking activities promoting community service.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers and perform a variety of banking transactions to service the communities we serve
- Use your interpersonal skills to enhance customer relationships and provide exceptional service
- Opportunities to mentor new associates and generate referrals to internal business partners
- Prepare daily settlement and proof of cash transactions; balance cash drawer accurately on a daily basis
- Cooperate with and support adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness.
Requirements
- Previous customer service and cash handling experience in a retail store (Key Holder / Assistant Manager) or banking environment is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Moderate reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills
- Proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Moderate computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move approximately 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move approximately 50 pounds of coin.
