Responsibilities
To support the purchasing function by procuring stock requirements, maintaining supplier communication, monitoring order progress, and ensuring timely delivery to meet customer and business needs.
Raising purchase orders based on the requirements.
Escalating any issues with the availability of required products to the team.
Responding to any procurement related issues in a timely manner.
Supporting the other merchandising teams when required.
Liaise with manufacturing partners and internal teams in order to ensure timely and efficient receipt of goods.
Review and resolve inbound issues to minimise delays.
Requirements
Strong communication: Ability to build professional relationships with manufacturing partners and communicate clearly with internal departments.
Problem-solving skills: A logical approach to identifying delays or availability issues and the confidence to escalate them effectively.
Collaborative mindset: A team-player attitude with a willingness to support the wider functions when required.
Desirable (but not essential) - Basic understanding of lead times and inventory management.
