About the role

• Senior Accountant at Airline Assistance Switzerland overseeing financial processes in a dynamic environment. Responsible for preparing financial statements and mentoring junior colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Independent preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with [HGB / IFRS].
• Preparation of tax returns and serving as the competent point of contact for tax authorities and external auditors.
• You will review existing accounting processes and digitalize our workflows (e.g., implementation of new ERP modules).
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior colleagues within the team.

Requirements

• Completed commercial training with further qualification as a certified Bilanzbuchhalter (German certified financial accountant) or a relevant degree with a focus on finance.
• Several years (5+ years) of professional experience in financial accounting, ideally in a dynamic environment or at an audit firm.
• In-depth knowledge of financial reporting (accounting) and current tax law.
• Confident use of common ERP systems (especially DATEV or Microsoft Dynamics / Business Central) and very strong Excel skills.
