Responsibilities
- Function as a consultant between the technology unit and other business units to understand their challenges
- Ask questions and present ideas to solve data problems with code
- Work side-by-side with the business to ensure solutions work as expected
- Translate technical specifications into functional code
- Quality testing to ensure solutions meet business objectives
Requirements
- Understanding how to query and process large data sets of 200,000 rows or more, ideally in SQL
- Functional knowledge of at least 1 programming language like Python
- Experience with data integration from different sources into Big Data systems is preferable
- Experience quality testing and coding
- A willingness to collaborate and learn from others
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and participation in daily standup meetings
