About the role

  • Steuerassistent supporting audit and advisory services for clients in Stuttgart, Germany. Focusing on tax declarations, financial statements and client inquiries across tax law domains.

Responsibilities

  • Audit of annual and consolidated financial statements
  • Participation in tax and business advisory projects
  • Preparation of annual financial statements and tax returns for corporations and partnerships
  • Preparation of tax returns and income-expenditure accounts (Einnahmen-Überschuss-Rechnung)
  • Handling client inquiries across all areas of tax law
  • Preparation of financial accounting and payroll accounting
  • Direct contact with our clients

Requirements

  • Completed degree in business/economics or vocational training as a tax clerk (Steuerfachangestellte), certified accounting clerk (Bilanzbuchhalter) or tax specialist (Steuerfachwirt)
  • Initial experience gained through internships or previous work in a firm / auditor role
  • Familiarity with DATEV and Unternehmen Online
  • Strong command of German, written and spoken
