Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day community activity across social platforms, including moderation, publishing and engagement
Create and adapt compelling, platform-native copy in both German and English
Stimulate and sustain conversations with audiences, building meaningful relationships with communities
Execute editorial calendars and support campaign rollouts across multiple channels
Work closely with creative and strategy teams to ideate and brief engaging content
Monitor conversations, identify trends and escalate issues where required
Maintain high standards of community engagement, including brand tone of voice and ethical considerations
Support real-time and reactive social moments, including live event coverage where relevant
Build strong client relationships and contribute to ongoing strategic thinking
Track performance, contribute to reporting and provide actionable insights
Stay ahead of platform updates, cultural trends and emerging opportunities
Requirements
5+ years experience in a Community Manager / Social Media role (agency experience preferred)
Fluent German and English (written and spoken)
Strong copywriting skills with the ability to flex tone across platforms
Deep understanding of social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, etc.) and their nuances
Experience with moderation, including escalation processes and customer-facing interactions
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative agency environment
Experience with social publishing and listening tools (e.g. Sprinklr, Khoros, Hootsuite) a plus
Culturally aware, proactive and always curious about trends and online behaviour
