About the role
- Supports customer projects in the financial services sector as a working student. Engages in analysis, specification, implementation, and testing for successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Support client projects – assist with business analysis, drafting specifications, technical implementation and testing through to successful go-live
- Specialize in one of our competence teams (currently: Compliance Services, Regulatory Reporting, ESG, Operational Excellence) and become a specialist in that area
- Support project management at client sites across private and investment banks, custody banks, asset managers and financial services providers
- Advise on matters related to transaction processing and process optimization, software integration, migrations and regulatory changes (depending on focus and expertise)
- Collaborate with business units and IT to apply your subject-matter expertise effectively and help deliver complex projects
Requirements
- University degree (Bachelor / Master) or equivalent in Economics, Business Informatics, Financial Mathematics or a related field; alternatively, commercial vocational training (banking, insurance, investment) may be considered for candidates with strong potential
- Knowledge of financial instruments and products (e.g. investment funds, bonds, derivatives) and the associated business processes
- Very good command of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint); ideally SQL knowledge; familiarity with Confluence, Jira and MS Project is a plus
- Customer- and solution-oriented, proactive, a team player and well organized
- Good command of English and German – additional European languages are an advantage
