About the role
- Financial Reporting Analyst in Financial Reporting services for BASF in Kuala Lumpur. Preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance, and supporting financial analysis processes.
Responsibilities
- Independently provide Financial Reporting transaction processing support and ensuring delivery quality in terms of accuracy, completeness and timeliness on daily basis.
- Prepare and coordinate for month-end, quarter-end, year-end and statutory financial reports for BASF companies across Asia Pacific on timely, accurate and complete basis.
- Troubleshoot and liaise with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues and queries related to Financial Reporting processes.
- Lead local projects and participate in regional projects.
Requirements
- University degree in finance and accounting or business studies; and/or Chartered or Certified Professional Accountant or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years’ experiences in Financial Reporting or other accounting function.
- Preferably experience working in SAP system or other major ERP system’s work environment.
- Proficiency in English and other language required with good communication skill.
