About the role

  • Vulnerability Remediation Management Analyst ensuring effective resolution of security vulnerabilities within Computershare’s global infrastructure. Collaborate with teams to minimize operational disruption and maintain security posture.

Responsibilities

  • Safeguarding the organisation’s global infrastructure by driving timely and effective resolution of identified security vulnerabilities
  • Tracking remediation efforts and escalating issues where necessary
  • Producing detailed reports and driving the implementation of processes to prevent reintroduction of resolved vulnerabilities
  • Collaborating across teams and driving accountability to support the organisation’s commitment to maintaining a strong security posture
  • Working closely with information security, technology, risk and business teams to align remediation efforts with organisational priorities and minimize operational disruption
  • Maintaining comprehensive oversight of identified security vulnerabilities across the global enterprise.
  • Proactively identifying delays or challenges in remediation efforts and escalate issues to leadership or teams for resolution
  • Developing and delivering regular reports detailing the status of vulnerability remediation efforts, highlighting trends, risks, and compliance with regulatory/internal standards
  • Recommending, overseeing, and verifying the implementation of controls to prevent recurrence of previously addressed vulnerabilities
  • Providing support to the Vulnerability Remediation Management Specialist.

Requirements

  • Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic global environment
  • Strong understanding of Cyber security principles, vulnerability management
  • Ability to develop effective and trusting relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Good understanding of how the wider GIS (Global Information Security) team works together
  • Evidenced developed communication skills to provide clear verbal and/or written communications in response to vulnerability findings and/or remediation efforts
  • Hands-on experience working in a vulnerability testing environment, utilising third party tools (e.g. Nessus, Metasploit, Nexpose, Qualys, IBM AppScan)
  • Strong foundational understanding of enterprise system, network and application architectures
  • Demonstrable comprehension of end-to-end vulnerability management workflow and industry standards (CVE, CPE, CVSS)
  • Possess or working towards, professional or industry security/IT certifications (CEH, MCSA, CISSP, SANS) and understanding of security principles (OWASP, CIS, NIST, and ISO27000).
