About the role
- Senior Voice Engineer responsible for Cisco Unified Communications implementation and support. Role involves troubleshooting, configuring, and upgrading network systems for classified and unclassified environments.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for implementation and technical support of Cisco Unified Communications related technologies
- 2nd and 3rd level support of existing systems
- Provide installation, transition, and cutover of components of the systems
- Provide all maintenance and documentation of ground equipment and systems on a scheduled and unscheduled basis
- Test and Integration
- Gather trend analysis data on systems, and provide input for resource planning
- Provide real-time usable statistics to aid with troubleshooting
- Upgrades to all supported VoIP / UC systems
- Monitoring of Managed Services UC customers via 3rd party network monitoring software
- Review work/installation progress for accuracy, adherence to network design, and conformance to telecommunications standards
- Perform other Voice technology-related duties as assigned
- Must be able to travel on-site one week per month and additional travel as needed.

- A Top Secret clearance is required to be considered for the position
