About the role

  • Ensure execution and delivery of appraisal & valuation consulting engagements
  • Perform analysis of market and property information in order to develop valuation model(s) and client deliverables
  • Oversee preparation of necessary exhibits and memos in illustration of complex issues
  • Ensure quality controls are adhered in association with all work products
  • Participate in internal and external client meetings
  • Build strong relationships with market and business line leaders to exchange best practices, accelerate innovation and ensure quality and consistency
  • Begin to participate in client development efforts in the local market/region.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other relevant field required
  • 5+ years of real estate valuation experience
  • Strategic understanding of commercial real estate appraisal
  • Active Certified General Appraiser License, required
  • MAI designation or candidate, preferred
  • Must be able to travel to asset tours
  • Must be able to communicate clearly in person, over the telephone and via emails
  • Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screen
  • Must be able to read, write, speak & comprehend English.
