About the role
- Senior UX Designer at LRN focusing on SaaS product UX and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Leading design projects and applying Human-Centered Design and Design Thinking principles.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and translate them into effective design solutions.
- Lead end-to-end UX design for product features, from research and concepting to high-fidelity designs and prototypes.
- Apply Human-Centered Design and Design Thinking practices to ideation, prototyping, and validation.
- Create and maintain scalable Figma component libraries and design systems.
- Conduct user research and usability testing, synthesizing findings into actionable insights.
- Ensure all designs are consistent with brand and style guidelines, and are inclusive and accessible.
- Foster collaboration with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure quality delivery of design solutions.
- Contribute to a culture of experimentation, iteration, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 6–8 years of professional experience in UX Design, preferably in SaaS products.
- Strong proficiency in Figma (components, variables, prototyping, design systems).
- Solid understanding and application of Human-Centered Design / Design Thinking methodologies.
- Experience designing enterprise-level workflows, dashboards, or admin tools.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating impactful SaaS UX projects.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in UX Design, HCI, Graphic Design, or related field.
- Nice to Have:
- HFI CUA / CXA certification.
- Google UX certification.
- IBM Design Thinking badges.
- Portfolio with SaaS-based or data visualization projects.
- Experience with e-learning, compliance, or cybersecurity-related tools.
- Familiarity with analytics and usability testing tools (eg. Pendo, Hotjar).
