About the role

  • Lead and coordinate the activities of the team to achieve quality and performance objectives
  • Serve as a point of contact for support to internal and external estimators
  • Provide training and technical support to employees
  • Review subrogation files from other insurers and make recommendations
  • Perform quality checks on estimates produced by estimators
  • Improve efficiency by contributing to the development of analyses and recommendations
  • Organize, plan and control the optimal use of resources according to the budget
  • Support teams when there are complaints related to estimates
  • Participate in various committees in the field of estimating

Requirements

  • College diploma or equivalent combination of professional experience
  • Estimator certificate from the Groupement des Assureurs Agréés (an asset)
  • 3 to 5 years of management experience (an asset)
  • Knowledge of the estimating and claims settlement process (an asset)
  • Strong analytical, synthesis and decision-making skills
  • Project management and change management abilities
  • Ability to foster engagement and mobilization within the team
  • Ability to build relationships based on trust and collaboration
