- Act as a liaison between brokers and insurers to negotiate and determine insurance terms and conditions
- Develop, underwrite and service new business in accordance with the guidelines of various programs and contracts, including acting as a wholesaler
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with brokers by providing high-quality service
- Represent the company at industry events, as needed
- Build business relationships with existing and new brokers through marketing visits
- Underwrite and service renewals in accordance with the guidelines of various programs and contracts
- Collaborate with colleagues on current and future opportunities
- Review and manage insurance policies, wordings, and underwriting standards
- Confirm and approve that underwriting standards reflect contracts and meet program requirements
- Work collaboratively with underwriters on insurer contracts and standards
- Process endorsement requests and price them as needed based on the content of the request
- Make policy changes and approve cancellations submitted by assistants
