About the role

  • Trust and Custodial Analyst at Deseret Trust Company providing support for charitable giving and asset stewardship. Collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure effective operations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support services to employees with technical problems and information technology issues involving laptop or network services from local personnel or from employees using network remote access.
  • Handle a variety of software and device maintenance and upgrades.
  • Validate functionality of automated processes.
  • De-commission client-side assets as outlined by policy; coordinate and execute the surplus of hardware assets.
  • Implement changes and participate in project roll-outs.
  • Perform audit tasks as directed by management.
  • May interact with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problems. Simulates or recreates user problems to resolve operating difficulties.
  • Works independently.
  • Analyze and resolve client-side hardware/software malfunctions and take appropriate action (on personal computers, mobile devices, printers, PC cascades projects, video conferencing, etc.
  • Assist others in analyzing and evaluating client-side system malfunctions and take appropriate action as directed.
  • Effectively communicate with end-users providing information, advice and guidance; interact with customers in a helpful, positive manner with customer satisfaction being the objective.
  • Troubleshoot systems when incidents are reported.
  • Maintain inventory of computers and printers.
  • Make sure established processes are developed and followed.
  • Provide operational and maintenance training for clients remotely and on-site.
  • Participate in quarterly Information Security and System Committee (CISSC) meetings.
  • Obtain and compile data from outside managers as needed.
  • Assist monthly processing of CTF data as needed.
  • Reconciles accounts as needed.
  • Provides monthly training on new technology advances or changes as needed.
  • Assist providing backup support of daily transaction processing as needed.
  • Provides support to staff on various report requests (SSRS) as needed.
  • Maintain DTC Website and social accounts as needed.
  • Assist generating client statements as needed.
  • Assist in processing investment portfolio manager trades as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, computer science, or related field.
  • 8 years of experience in accounting, computer science and/or investments.
  • Have a basic understanding of databases and related queries.
