Responsibilities
- Oversee Treasury and Insurance accounting and disclosures
- Ensure reporting accuracy, policy adherence, and audit readiness
- Provide guidance on complex transactions, new standards, and treasury-related issues
- Lead development of technical accounting memos and drive compliance with GAAP and Corporate Policy
- Oversee internal controls, SOX compliance, and audit remediation
- Strengthen risk management through coordination with Corporate Audit and Financial Controls
- Maintain and improve accounting policies and streamline reporting processes
- Collaborate with Treasury, Insurance, and Corporate Finance leaders on financial strategy
- Provide direction, mentorship, and training to divisional finance teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- CPA required
- MBA preferred
- 10+ years in accounting, including Big 4 experience
- Deep knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting, and treasury accounting
- Experience leading in complex, global organizations
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership abilities
- Proven record in controls management and process improvement
- ERP system proficiency
