About the role

  • Reporting to the Team Manager/Head of Centre
  • Act as a point of contact for tenants and landlords, assisting with inquiries and booking appointments
  • Ensure a smooth tenancy process from beginning to end
  • Provide excellent telephone and written communication throughout the tenancy
  • Accept and understand tenants' maintenance requirements and provide a triage service
  • Communicate unresolved issues to landlords with proposed solutions and arrange works with contractors
  • Update all parties regularly by phone, email or text and log notes
  • Make regular ‘well being’ calls to landlords
  • Work with property management team to ensure works are completed and invoiced within 21 days and update customers on progress
  • Ensure mandatory compliance/legislation is in place on all properties and follow company process when not
  • Work with Property Inspection Clerks to ensure inspections are completed and parties communicated in line with policy
  • Place calls to managed landlords and tenants 2 weeks prior to vacation to explain checkout process and time frames
  • Deal with non-managed deposits who are part of the No Deposit Scheme and ensure checkout process via the Depositary site
  • Work with team leaders, head of centres and branch network to understand reasons for any lost units
  • Maintain high levels of communication with internal and external customers

Requirements

  • Experience not essential; training provided
  • Excellent communication, written and verbal
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Organisational skills, time management and attention to detail
  • Ability to work Monday-Friday 9am-5.30pm
  • No driving licence required
