Trade Finance Officer responsible for administration of trade finance products at Access Bank. Providing support for complex procedures and guiding teams in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
This role will be responsible for the administration of all operational aspects of trade finance products.
Provide Trade Finance support and undertake a range of procedures some of which may be complex in nature, working on own initiative.
Answer queries non-routine in nature, providing advice and guidance to others.
Compose / draft correspondence, signing within delegated authority.
Operate a keyboard or other equipment making special use of software facilities to facilitate production of letters/ reports/data.
Plan, organise and prioritise own workloads and where appropriate instruct others.
Compile and process management information.
Verify / check the work of others as part of the defined procedure, when required.
Requirements
Strong knowledge in Trade Finance
An Undergraduate degree, preferably in a relevant subject
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Power-point & Excel)
Teamwork and leadership skills essential
Excellent communication, problem solving, analytical and negotiation skills
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
Additional advantage: Language skills (e.g. proficient in French, Portuguese etc.)
