About the role

  • This role will be responsible for the administration of all operational aspects of trade finance products.
  • Provide Trade Finance support and undertake a range of procedures some of which may be complex in nature, working on own initiative.
  • Answer queries non-routine in nature, providing advice and guidance to others.
  • Compose / draft correspondence, signing within delegated authority.
  • Operate a keyboard or other equipment making special use of software facilities to facilitate production of letters/ reports/data.
  • Plan, organise and prioritise own workloads and where appropriate instruct others.
  • Compile and process management information.
  • Verify / check the work of others as part of the defined procedure, when required.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge in Trade Finance
  • An Undergraduate degree, preferably in a relevant subject
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Power-point & Excel)
  • Teamwork and leadership skills essential
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, analytical and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Additional advantage: Language skills (e.g. proficient in French, Portuguese etc.)
