About the role

  • Performs routine clerical and administrative tasks related to trade compliance operations
  • Assists with administrative issues to ensure compliance through various documentation procedures
  • Assists with regular audits and assessments of trade transactions
  • Prepares and reviews trade documents for accuracy and compliance
  • Collaborates with internal and external partners for implementing trade compliance solutions
  • Collects, processes, prioritizes, analyzes and reports on global trade and compliance data
  • Maintains customs master files and records to support compliance

Requirements

  • Fluency in English – written and spoken
  • Secondary or higher education
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Customs Administration Special customs regimes are useful, but no relevant experience is required
  • Knowledge of Excise management is useful, but no relevant experience is required
  • Knowledge of Incoterms
  • Experience in Supply Chain is useful but no relevant experience is required
  • Experience in SAP and GTS or similar
  • Experience in systems such as Open Text is useful, but no relevant experience is required
  • Interfacing with Customs Brokers is useful, but no relevant experience is required
  • Ability to develop business acumen incorporating trade compliance solutions
