Responsibilities
- Provide technical consulting services to clients
- Contribute to the design and delivery of technical architecture solution components
- Support the efforts of more experienced consultants
- Play a key consultative role with external clients working with the key stakeholders and business regarding operations and integration
- Ensure best practice adherence for core system setup, development, security, tuning and performance
- Provide subject matter expertise in designing, developing, and implementing ITIL processes inside of ITSM modules within the ServiceNow platform
- Customize ServiceNow applications and facilitate rollout of new applications and modules
- Configure Application UI and configure flow/orchestration automations
- Facilitate and support development with testing phases
- Submit daily hours for time tracking
- Coordinate release planning and implementations
- Maintain and continuously improve processes, standards, policies, working methods, and tools
- Ensure appropriate tools and processes are in place for a reliable dev/test/prod environment
- Participate in ongoing production support and end user support
Requirements
- Over 3 years working within the ServiceNow platform
- Expertise with scripting, automation and ServiceNow APIs
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with third-party tools
- Proficiency in web technologies including HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript
- Understanding of relational database management systems and queries
- Experience in IT Service Management (ITSM) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) frameworks
- Familiarity of IT Service Management modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Request)
- Understanding of IT Operations Management modules (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management)
