About the role
- System Engineer optimizing Linux systems for global iGaming company. Involved in infrastructure design, reliability, and performance maximization through automation and monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain our core infrastructure across virtual, private, and public cloud environments
- Administer and optimize our Linux systems for maximum performance, reliability, and security
- Develop automation tools and scripts to streamline operations, reduce manual errors, and improve the customer experience
- Implement and improve monitoring and alerting systems to ensure proactive issue detection and resolution
- Respond to and resolve infrastructure incidents, problems, and service requests within defined SLAs
- Configure and manage key infrastructure services, including web servers and proxies like Nginx, Apache, and HAProxy
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Linux systems
- Proven working experience in managing and troubleshooting Linux systems
- Hands-on experience with configuration and orchestration management tools (Ansible, Terraform)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix, Datadog)
- Proficiency with version control (Git) and project tracking tools (Jira, Confluence)
- A self-driven, energetic, and hands-on approach with a "can-do, get-it-done" attitude
- The ability to work effectively both in a team and independently
- Willingness to work flexible hours or participate in an on-call rotation as needed
