About the role
- System Developer responsible for development and management of Electro Mechanical Power Takeoffs for battery electric vehicles at TRATON's R&D. Collaboration across departments to ensure functionality and performance.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the integration of EMPTO systems into electric vehicles, ensuring smooth functionality and optimal performance.
- Ensure the safety, security, and reliability of the system throughout its lifecycle.
- Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation for all system components, processes, and standards.
- Collaborate with testing teams to support system validation, and assist production and aftermarket teams with troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Address field quality issues, ensuring the product remains operational throughout its lifecycle with continuous improvements and updates.
- Manage and update product data, including systems such as OAS (Operational Assessment System).
- Provide ongoing support across the full product life cycle, from development through to production and aftermarket services.

- 5+ years of experience in the automotive industry within system- or function development
