Responsibilities
You support our existing customers worldwide in the Warehousing segment with software and logistics services.
You design warehouse management systems, applying and taking into account our products and development standards.
You create the necessary intralogistics specifications to map logistical processes and functionalities.
Finally, you translate process requirements into efficient system requirements.
Requirements
Degree in Logistics, Computer Science, Automation Engineering or a comparable technical degree with an IT focus
Several years of professional experience in a logistics environment is desirable
Solid knowledge of intralogistics and material flow related to warehouse management systems and processes
Strong ability to present and justify scopes of delivery
Ideally, some initial experience with application development, e.g., C# or Java
Initial exposure to requirement management processes as well as creating specifications, test concepts and related documentation
Very good German and English skills, willingness to travel (approx. 20%), and enjoyment of customer contact (internal and external) in the context of developing concepts and requirement specifications
