Responsibilities
Configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, accounts etc. in accordance with standards and security/project/operational requirements
Identify, install and configure systems supporting infrastructure, cloud, and business applications
Develop and maintain an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies
Contribute to and maintain system standards
Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
Research, recommend, and innovative where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks
Provide Tier II, and III/other support per request from various constituencies
Ensure security utilizing the zero trust model, through access controls and firewalls
Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all resources (physical and virtual), systems and key processes
Requirements
Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role
Microsoft 365 (AZURE AD, OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint, etc.) management
High attention to detail and superior organizational and time-management skills
Ability to balance competing priorities and adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines
Working knowledge of cloud service platforms, preferably Azure
Excellent communication skills
Demonstrate resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude, have the ability to provide logical and creative solutions
Working knowledge of network administration, topology, DNS, SSL certificates, IP addressing and subnets
Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
Ability to create scripts in Python, PowerShell, Perl or other language
