About the role
- Shape the future supply chain for imported fruit and vegetables across all ALDI SÜD countries in Europe
- Analyse current processes and data to define optimal supply chain strategies
- Drive the IT-implementation of new and harmonised processes for an efficient fruit and vegetable supply chain
- Establish best-practice operational standards to streamline sourcing and logistics
- Drive continuous improvement of operational processes for fresh fruit and vegetables
- Collaborate closely with an international team, suppliers, logistics providers, and country organizations
Requirements
- A completed university degree, ideally in supply chain management
- Expertise in supply chain or purchasing processes in retail, ideally for imported fruit and vegetables
- Hands-on experience in project management and implementation of IT projects
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate and interpret complex data
- Familiar with SAP and S/4 HANA, Tableau and highly proficient with MS Office Tools
- A proactive, can-do attitude, thriving in dynamic and evolving environments
- A structured, reliable, and results-driven approach to work in an international team
- Fluency in business English; additional European languages are a plus
