About the role
- Supplier Development Expert at Jungheinrich focusing on supply chain efficiency and supplier audits. Ensuring stability and effective management of supply situations across JH plants.
Responsibilities
- Continues improvement of the internal/ external Supply Chain Performance (in terms of efficiency, resilience, agility, flexibility) and other related processes
- Supplier qualification & development as well as conduction of supplier audits (e.g. capacity audit, process of production planning)
- Stabilization of the supply chain with focus on early risk identification & preventive actions
- Processes analysis to identify and implement improvements / to increase the (economic) efficiency along the supply chain
- Management of critical supply situations along all JH plants & leading of supplier escalations (on management level)
- Evaluation of supply chain KPI’s with the use of SAP/ Business Warehouse and other tools
- Moderation of supplier workshops, e.g. root-cause analysis, value-stream mapping, lean-management
Requirements
- University Degree (master) in the field of logistics/ supply chain management (e.g. industrial engineering)
- +6 years professional work experience in the field of Supply Chain Management & Supplier Management
- Analytical methods (e.g. 8D, Ishikawa, Six Sigma, lean production, value stream mapping)
- Specialist knowledge of manufacturing processes specific to product groups
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written in English (German is a plus)
- Willingness to travel regularly
