About the role
- Student Assistant supporting the development of new machine concepts for sustainable energy technologies. Work involves project participation and experiment evaluations in hydrogen economy at Fraunhofer IPT.
Responsibilities
- Support the team in developing new machine concepts, their control systems, and in analyzing experiments in the field of sustainable energy technologies
- Preparation, execution and analysis of experiments
- Collaboration on industrial projects in the hydrogen economy
- Conducting and overseeing experiments in production technology
- Analysis, processing and documentation of experimental results
Requirements
- You are enrolled in a degree program in Mechanical Engineering, CES, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a comparable field
- Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python, C, or Structured Text is advantageous
- Understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
- Ideally, initial experience with CAD tools, measurement technology, or data processing
- Ability to work independently and enjoyment of teamwork
- Good German and English language skills
