About the role

Responsibilities
- Evaluate and review AI-related proposals to ensure alignment with compliance and strategic priorities.
- Maintain and administer critical infrastructure used by the Open Program Office to ensure team-dependent infrastructure remains operational.
- Organize and lead webinars and workshops to expand open technology training within HPE.
- Analyze open community data to provide insights and recommendations.
- Assist in planning and execution of Inner Sourcing events and office hours to foster collaboration across teams.
- Provide reports and consulting as needed to HPE teams.
- Develop and enhance tools for advising and selecting OSS projects, as bandwidth permits.
Requirements
- Self-starter with 10+ years proven experience in program management, system administration, analytics, and open community operations.
- Strong understanding of software design & development.
- BA or BS undergraduate degree
- Previous experience with open source software and other open technology communities.
- Knowledge of open licensing and intellectual property concepts.
- Strong programming and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash scripting, Jenkins).
- Familiarity with open source compliance tools and processes, including SBOM management.
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills to manage diverse responsibilities and priorities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to coordinate and train teams and communities.
