MetroStarSenior Software Engineer II
Designing and developing enterprise - grade ServiceNow applications focused on Software Asset Management. Contributing to operational excellence and mentoring junior developers.
About the role
- Shape the future of at-home care by building software for hospitals and patients that will make their lives easier.
- Work closely with customers and internal teams to define exactly what needs to be built.
- Build prototypes fast, with a path to turn them into robust systems over time.
- Find creative solutions to complex technical and product problems.
- Operate with a lot of independence and responsibility in solving complex issues.
- Work with relevant stakeholders outside of engineering to figure out the right solutions to issues.
- Play a critical role in shaping the engineering culture and team structure of the West Coast presence (founding member of SF hub).
Requirements
- At least 7 years experience building, shipping, and maintaining full-stack applications in a production environment.
- Advanced degree in Computer Science or other relevant technical focuses.
- Proficiency in building applications with both backend (e.g., Python, TypeScript/JavaScript) and frontend (e.g., React, Vue) technologies.
- A strong command of SQL and experience designing and querying relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- The ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with Flask, React, Apollo GraphQL, Postgres, Airflow, AWS, Google Cloud Platform.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States; company cannot provide visa sponsorship.
