About the role
- Staff Bookkeeper supporting private client services and handling diverse bookkeeping responsibilities. Focusing on accurate financial records and tax compliance for various clients and industries.
Responsibilities
- Handle diverse client base from high net worth individual’s family office, nonprofit organization to corporate accounting.
- Processing accounts payable, customer invoicing, bank reconciliations, preparing business compliance filings such as 1099’s, payroll, and sales tax.
- Be willing to take ownership of client base is necessary.
- BPM bookkeepers may be required to work at client sites as well as in the office on an as need basis.
Requirements
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience.
- Experience using QuickBooks and Intacct (aka Sage Intacct).
- A clear understanding of accrual and cash basis of accounting.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Pro-advisor certification in recent versions is a plus.
- Knowledge of various accounting systems including NetSuite, Intacct, and MRI is a plus.
