About the role
- Designs, develops, and implements solutions in AS400/ IBM i-series by applying advanced technical expertise in SYNON/ Advanced RPG programming to architect and code software applications
- Conduct system testing and debugging
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Contribute to the overall technical direction and innovation of core engineering projects
- Writes and executes comprehensive test cases, conducts code reviews, performs debugging
- Troubleshoots issues to ensure reliability, stability, and high quality of core application
- Participates in agile or other development methodologies
- Proposes design patterns, and ensures scalability, performance, and maintainability of core application.
- Explores new tools, frameworks, and techniques to improve digital solutions and drive innovation within the development team.
- Creates and maintains technical documentation.
Requirements
- 3+ years enterprise / web / cloud applications software development experience
- 3+ years of experience in Developing Java applications in Spring boot, Spring MVC
- 3+ years of experience in Creating Angular / React JS UI Applications
- 3+ years of experience in Building APIs and services using REST and JUnit Testing
- 3+ Automation technologies (e.g., Maven or Gradle, Jenkins, etc.)
- 3+ Building, testing, and deploying code to run on Google cloud infrastructure
- 3+ years of experience in Scrum/Agile development methodologies
- Interested to learn and work on AS400/ RPG/ SYNON.
- Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills
- Exposure to product/services development and public cloud environment like AWS/GCP/Azure
- Education Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification.
