Responsibilities
Designs, develops, and implements solutions in AS400/ IBM i-series by applying advanced technical expertise in SYNON/ Advanced RPG programming to architect and code software applications
Conduct system testing and debugging
Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Contribute to the overall technical direction and innovation of core engineering projects
Writes and executes comprehensive test cases, conducts code reviews, performs debugging
Troubleshoots issues to ensure reliability, stability, and high quality of core application
Participates in agile or other development methodologies
Proposes design patterns, and ensures scalability, performance, and maintainability of core application.
Explores new tools, frameworks, and techniques to improve digital solutions and drive innovation within the development team.
Creates and maintains technical documentation.
Requirements
3+ years enterprise / web / cloud applications software development experience
3+ years of experience in Developing Java applications in Spring boot, Spring MVC
3+ years of experience in Creating Angular / React JS UI Applications
3+ years of experience in Building APIs and services using REST and JUnit Testing
3+ Automation technologies (e.g., Maven or Gradle, Jenkins, etc.)
3+ Building, testing, and deploying code to run on Google cloud infrastructure
3+ years of experience in Scrum/Agile development methodologies
Interested to learn and work on AS400/ RPG/ SYNON.
Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills
Exposure to product/services development and public cloud environment like AWS/GCP/Azure
Education Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification.
