About the role

  • Software Development Engineer developing fraud detection and compliance solutions for financial institutions. Joining Fiserv's FCRM product development team to enhance operational efficiency and security.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design and development of FCRM modules using C# ( .NET Core ), Angular, SQL Server , and Azure services.
  • Architect scalable, secure, high‑performance solutions for fraud detection and compliance workflows.
  • Collaborate with product management, architecture, and DevOps to deliver features through Agile/SAFe cycles.
  • Implement CI/CD automation with Azure DevOps and Terraform; optimize build, test, and deploy pipelines.
  • Apply and validate security and regulatory controls (e.g., PCI DSS, SOC 1) across application and cloud environments.
  • Provide Tier 3 engineering support, diagnose production issues, and drive root‑cause remediation.
  • Mentor developers and contribute to technical strategy and roadmap evolution.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in C# / .NET Core backend services and RESTful API design.
  • 4+ years of experience building Single Page Applications with Angular and TypeScript.
  • 4+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server , including schema design, T-SQL , and performance tuning.
  • 4+ years of experience designing microservices and distributed systems (e.g., Azure Kubernetes Service).
  • 4+ years of experience with Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines) and infrastructure as code using Terraform.
  • 4+ years of experience implementing CI/CD, automated testing (e.g., xUnit/NUnit), and deployment strategies.
  • 4+ years of experience applying security/compliance standards (e.g., PCI DSS, SOC 1) and identity integration ( Azure AD, OAuth2/OpenID Connect).
  • 4+ years of equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience.
